Admissions & Thresholds
For the 2025 Baccalaureate, the acceptance threshold was 18.21 for all scientific streams.
Around 200 baccalaureate students are accepted annually, selected based on their Baccalaureate average.
The weighted average is calculated using the following math formula:
Weighted Average =
2 × BAC +
Physics + Math2

Academic Scope
The program spans five years of full-time study: two preparatory years focusing on foundational science, mathematics, and technical coding, followed by three years of specialized engineering tracks.
The school actively partners with academic, research, and industrial partners. For now, we only have local partners, but in the near future we aim to secure international partners, enabling both national and international internships.
The school collaborates with several academic, research, and industrial partners, including: USTHB, ENP, Mobilis, NESDA, CRTI, Deepm, Alcadworks, and CDTA.
The major differences are in the specialties: robotics and autonomous navigation are not offered in any other higher school (there are close fields like automatique and mechatronics, but not pure robotics). The second difference lies in the unique benefits of the technology pole for our students.
This question is completely up to you. If you really love robotics or navigation and can't see yourself in any other field, go for it and retake the exam. However, our advice is not to judge any field before trying to discover it and go deep into it. Even if you decide to retake the Baccalaureate for NHSAST, we recommend enrolling in the university you were assigned to first, trying to learn more, and then making your decision (such as freezing the year or stopping the retake).
To pass the year, you need a yearly average of 10/20 or more, calculated as (Semester 1 Average + Semester 2 Average) / 2. Additionally, all individual module averages must be higher than the elimination (failing) grade, which is defined as 0.6 × Promotion Average Mark for that specific module.
You are not allowed to repeat the first year. From the second year to the fifth year, you are permitted to repeat only once during your entire program. In case of failing the first year, or failing twice during the subsequent years, you will be re-oriented based on your Baccalaureate mark to any specialty your grade allows, except for the other higher schools of the Sidi Abdellah Technology Pole.
Post-Graduation & Diploma
For now, nothing is official as there are no graduated promotions yet. However, since you receive an engineering degree and a Master 2, you can pursue your doctorate in this field in any country that recognizes the LMD system.
Since no promotions have graduated from the school yet, the specifics regarding document authentication are still not fully clear.
Campus Life & Logistics
All NHSAST students will have their own single room, even if they live in Sidi Abdellah city.
All students in NHSAST receive a monthly scholarship of 10,000 DA.
The residence is a 5-minute walk away.
